The Bitcoin education movement needs a decentralized digital infrastructure designed to empower educators around the world. Today, educators and local communities rely on fragmented tools for courses, payments, communication, events, and community management, making sustainable education difficult to scale independently.
My First Bitcoin is building an open-source platform that unifies these systems into one ecosystem, allowing educators to focus on teaching, collaboration, and community building instead of managing technology.
The platform will also introduce a trust framework through certifications and community-driven accountability mechanisms designed to reduce scams and increase confidence for new learners, one of the biggest barriers to Bitcoin education today. By connecting educators globally, the platform will make it possible for someone in Europe to learn from an educator in Africa, and for independent communities worldwide to collaborate directly for the first time.
The first version of the platform will combine:

- A dedicated community environment for students, educators, and partners
- Integrated infrastructure for communication, events, and collaboration
- Native access across web, iOS, and Android
Over time, the platform will integrate Bitcoin-native payment rails designed to help educators and local education communities build financially sustainable educational ecosystems accessible from anywhere in the world.
While the initial focus is Bitcoin education, the long-term vision reaches much further — supporting homeschooling, alternative education, local learning communities, and other emerging knowledge ecosystems.
In July 2026, My First Bitcoin will launch one of the most ambitious crowdfunding campaigns in the Bitcoin space to help bring this infrastructure to life.
